So I know everyone has been waiting for this one for a while. Well rest easy now, here it is. Pics of the best textile based show the Label Gallery has ever seen.

Curated by two key members of C.R.A.F.T. and the craftinclaire blog, "That's Going to Require Stitches" was a hit among Winnipegers. Everyone from young to old, rich to poor, short to tall, came to the opening gala, and all left begging for more. Winnipeg's best artists all participated in the show and there were even a few artists from far off places. There is talk of a second annual so fire up your sewing machines, whip out those knitting needles and start craftin'.
Shout out to Craft circle, this could have happened without you.
PS- Neon Patt is coming to the next craft circle so bring your favourite tie dyed clothes.

Lessons for crafters

I thought I'd give you folks a few important lessons in crafting now that you are on your own, no Claire to guide you.
Lesson number one, as demonstrated in the photo, always use a pattern when knitting a sweater, and always measure twice before starting the project. If you don't follow these rules, you may end up with a sweater that is far too small, and then you'll be just as embarrassed as the poor girl in the photo.
Lesson number two, be careful, don't prick yourself with the needle, it hurts. and get regular manicure, when you are a crafter, people always look at your hands.
Lesson number three, if you have a lasso, use it.
